From the Roaster: Ethiopian ‘Banko Gotiti’ is here and we are excited! This naturally-processed coffee is juicy and silky in body and it will delight you with flavors of pink lemonade, blueberries, honey, and whipped cream. This coffee has so much natural sweetness and a lovely floral aroma - it has an almost elegant quality. If you’re looking for something fruity, this is it, and more.
The producers of this coffee, Banko Gotiti, are a small cooperative of 300 members based in the Yirga Cheffe area. They were founded in 2012 when they branched off from a co-op we’ve worked with in the past called Worka.
