This property has belonged to the Holguin Ramos family for over 90 years, creating a special bond between family, land, and environment, and felt the necessity to impact the region by creating an economic and social project that would bring change to the surrounding community. After over 80 years of agroindustrial experience in the fields of palm oil and sugar cane, they have decided to expand furthermore. The family has been working to produce specialty coffees from exotic varieties since 2010. All this is influenced by a swing in temperature between day and night, a cool moisture wind coming from the pacific ocean and through the Farallones mountain range that makes this a perfect place to cultivate these exotic coffees with each cherry and bean hand sorted.
I have been a subscriber since their launch, having been introduced to Better Grounds at a coffee festival. I have enjoyed every monthly selection so far! Their service is a great choice for anyone who, like me, wants easier access great quality coffee and anyone who might feel overwhelmed trying to look into the sourcing bonafides of different brands. I appreciate that they do this work for their clients, and also support different roasters who are doing good work.
